This is. A good read. Well plotted,a scary scenerio. Maybe it is just this author's imagination.an hopefully not put future, trust in the lord.
I don't write book reviews unless I'm really impressed. I thought this was nonfiction, like the author's other books, but it's not. I thought it was present day because so many of the events in this book are already fact, but it's a futuristic novel. It's not too long, so easy to finish in one night. Very good reading.
All in all a good read.
The New World Order Blues depict a dystopian-esque world, and a man in that world who is driven to commit horrible acts and question his own identity. Although there is a coherent story, I couldn't help but compare it to other works like 1984 or Requiem for a Dream. While those are considered classics, there was nothing about this book that made me feel like it was unique. I feel it may have been better as a collection of short stories so you could delve deeper into the world and understand it better. One thing I didn't quite understand is how the main character, Casper, is part of a gang who must protect themselves from brigades at all times; but everyone has the time and freedom to expose themselves for football games. I don't think it's a bad book, but there was also nothing special about it in my view.
Trippy venture down the rabbit hole of a nightmarish scenario, which unfortunately seems possible in the scary times that we live in. Recommended reading for a visionary account of hell on earth
The storyline was good but skiped around a lot sometimes to the point where it with a little confusing about the timeframe that he was writing about.
